A gym that never fully closes can’t be cleaned the same way as an office that empties at 5 pm. Members are training at all hours, equipment is in constant use and change rooms see steady traffic from early morning to late at night.
That doesn’t mean the cleaning has to suffer. It just needs to be planned around how the facility actually runs.
Work around the quiet periods
Most 24-hour gyms still have predictable lulls. Late night and mid-morning are often quieter, and those windows are where the bulk of the cleaning can happen with the least disruption to members.
During the onsite visit we look at when the site is busiest, which areas get the most use and how access works outside staffed hours.
Focus on the high-touch areas
- Change rooms, showers and toilets
- Benches, handles and frequently touched equipment surfaces
- Mirrors and glass
- Reception, entry points and floors
These areas set the impression for members, so they usually need more frequent attention than storage rooms or offices.
Keep the same cleaner on site
A regular cleaner gets to know the layout, the busy periods and what the site needs. Combined with ongoing quality checks, that consistency is what keeps standards from slipping between visits.
If you run a 24-hour facility and want to talk through a schedule that fits, we can arrange an onsite visit and provide a written quote.
